Ultra Sonic Pulse Velocity
As per IS 516 Part 5 Section 1 : 2018
Civil Tech has Digital UPV machine in accordance with IS 516. It can evaluate Velocity to know the homogeneity of concrete.
Highly recommended test for Bridge Piers, Slabs and Girders, High rise structure columns.
Objective of the Test –
The ultrasonic pulse velocity method could be used to establish:
- The homogeneity of the concrete
- presence of cracks, voids, and other imperfections,
- changes in the structure of the concrete which may occur with time.
